Appeal to find Brighton bombing 999 workers over asbestos risk

Fears that fibres of asbestos had been released in Brighton due to an explosion in the eighties have lead to the police to send letters to anybody that may have been in the vicinity.  Also officers who responded to the scene were put at risk of being exposed.

The bacterium legionella pneumophila and related bacteria are common in natural water sources such as rivers, lakes and reservoirs, but usually in low numbers.
