With almost ten years in the field, Rachel is a highly qualified Occupational Hygienist with the Certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene (CertOH). She is a Licentiate of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene (FOH), a committee member for FOH, and a Technical Author for Guidance for Occupational Hygienists on the Assessment and Control of the Health Risks from Metalworking Fluid (MWF). Her expertise encompasses personal exposure monitoring, COSHH assessments, and ergonomics/human factors, with extensive experience in manufacturing and other industrial environments.
Rachel holds an MSc in Air Pollution Management and Control from the University of Birmingham, as well as advanced qualifications in Ergonomics and Human Factors and Systems Ergonomics from the University of Derby. She is dedicated to improving workplace health by delivering practical, evidence-based solutions that drive continuous improvement and reduce risk.
