Water Leak Investigation and self-sampling kit.

If you’ve sprung a leak from somewhere, our highly experience staff and hi-tech water testing machinery can give you a broad idea of the chemical composition of the water’s likely source – it could be from a leak in your garage or ceiling, running down your walls or springing up in your garden. You could test to see whether sewer water is leaking into your property.

You can even purchase one of our self-sampling kits off our website to take the samples yourself for us to test for you or if you prefer we can attend site and take the samples for you.

What to do if you find or suspect your house may contain asbestos containing materials?

If you suspect your house may contain asbestos contain materials (ACM’s), don’t worry! You can have a management survey carried out to identify any ACM’s and know the risks and potential costs of removing them.

Envirochem offer UKAS accredited asbestos management surveys. This type of survey is non-intrusive and is undertaken during normal occupancy to identify and then manage all reasonably accessible ACM’s. The report is tailored in every way to your needs.

Introducing our new Machine: Skalar Bluevision

Here at Envirochem, we are always looking at new ways we can improve our services, reduce turnaround times and offer more testing and analysis options. We recently invested in a new Machine: Skalar Bluevision – Continuous Flow Analyser, that does just that!

This machine allows us to process more samples without further staff and more quickly, allowing us to reduce our turnaround times and offer more testing options.

It can test one sample for 8 different tests, that we would have beforehand done as separate tests, this massively reduces the time it takes to process samples.

  • Ammonia
  • Chloride
  • Fluoride
  • Phenol
  • Sulphate

Bespoke and Tailored Testing/Consultancy

Here at Envirochem, we pride ourselves in being able to tailor our services to all our clients bespoke and unique testing/consultancy requirements.

Our chemical team have recently been working on one such project. Our client needed us to determine any irregularities in the mortar composition used on their properties, as they were different colours and causing water ingress.

Using our ICPOES Jess is testing the samples taken for a range of metals that will then allow us to determine similarities or differences between the mortar samples.
